You can turn mds off or keep from engaging either with tuner or the gear switch and put it on 8th. Also if you are pinging on any grade fuel you need to have it looked at. Mine pings like crazy with or without tune under medium to heavy throttleor different fuels. Turned out to be bad lifter. So...
The catch can helps keep the intake clean. My pinging has to be a lifter. Dealer being a **** replicated it but barely and said it’s normal. It’s not, but now I’m out of warranty. Owe well I guess. Hope it doesn’t nuke itself.
Mine pings like crazy. Dealer said it’s nothing. But my 2013 died from cam failure. My 19 runs 91 octane but pings on any octane. It’s pings pretty bad on moderate acceleration. I know it won’t last as long as it should. Love my ram but sure wish they would of fixed this issue.
12.5 on aftermarket wheels depending on offset with a lift. Without a lift 12.5 can fit depending on wheel offset. Factory wheels may work. I’m sure if you search you’ll find that info.
Turn that **** off and use that fun pedal. Lol. But seriously, I get better mpg without mds. Hand calculated. Taking same route daily same speeds same temps and weather. Got 2 mpg better without mds. And I have 3.92 gears.
Personally, I installed new speakers and wire for each speaker. I also installed 2 12” pioneer shallow mount subs. They are absolutely amazing. My system is top notch for doing it myself. I couldn’t stand the stock sub. I eliminated it. I did leave it in place though.
The amp will work. It’s not too strong but will work. Also the stock system is absolute garbage for a Harmon karmon. It’s appalling the amount of money they charge for these trucks with a redesign of the truck and The stereo is still crap.
From what I was told, they are booked through next year with orders. Not sure if that’s why, but I couldn’t order from my dealer. Their allocation is gone and they aren’t getting more until every ordered is fulfilled.
