you can get the passive entry harness from Jimmy07, but not sure about anybody making one for the ambient lighting. You might have to buy oem for that or do the research to make our own. However if you were to buy a new oem harness might as well get one that has the passive entry and the...
hmmm, Im guessing some of the process would be the same but I wonder it adding it to a 25 should be a whole new thread since it is a completely different electrical architecture and going to be completely different part #s
you would think that your dealer would have the updated version with the correct instructions by now but maybe not. Check out this video and see if it fixes your problem.
did you do the mopar kit or just order all the parts from this thread. I know the early version of the mopar kit had the wrong pin # in the instructions.
from what i have seen they can clone your key with or without passive entry so turning off a convenience function of your truck is useless. Also If that is your fear put your key in a faraday box at home and they can’t clone it.
it seems that might be correct for 2019 models(can’t say for 2020), but that is not the case for 2021’s unfortunately. On my truck the BCM has to be set to the year of the radio module or the backup camera will not work at all and I do not have the surround view system. Just adding this...
found the thread and what I said above is correct. Outer two both sides the plug is pointed toward the center and the inner two are pointed toward the bumper edges.
I definitely saw a thread(maybe on the TRX Forum) that said which way they are clocked is important. I will try to find it, but I think the outer two both sides the plug was pointed toward the center of the bumper and the inner two the plug was pointed toward the edges of the bumper
on my truck(21 TRX) all the fronts sensors are the same part #. The only difference was the bezels they go into which I guess changes the direction they point slightly.
There is also a lag on the TRX. Can’t compare it to a Rebel GT but I can say if you wait and hit the paddle right before redline the lag will cause it to not shift and bounce off the rev limiter.
I do not have the 360 surround on my truck(2021) and the rear camera did not work till I upgraded the bcm to the year of the radio. In my case it was a 2023 radio. I tried 2022 first and it still did not work. So yes it is needed.
just to give info and maybe eliminate variables it might be good to list the year of your truck and what you had before the upgrade. My truck was a 2021 with 12.1 UC4 ad I upgraded to the 12.1 UC5. No issues so far.
