That’s actually what I was thinking as it may be less of a hassle to go that route than to return and reorder. Thought I might just post in case someone has a better solution for anyone else interested in this mod.

That's what I was hoping for. I have a Highlander and that's how it works. I once opened a Mazda for a friend and I got laughed at because I didn't know I had to "push the button" to unlock the doors. Maybe I was doing something wrong or is Mazda that far off?

I recently purchased a Ram 1500 with the 12” screen and have had this happen to me once already. I was wondering if this was going to be a reoccurring issue. The screen just froze. I’ve owned it for less than a week.
