I went through the firewall through one of the rubber boots, I used a Nagoya RB-400 antenna mount on the edge of the hood and ran the coax between the inside and outside fender panels then into the floor panel track. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk

Yes the higher octane makes a bug difference also if you can get it ethanol free (pure gasoline) it really makes a huge difference. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk

Correct, I think it is to keep the evaporator from freezing up, mine only does it a couple of times then just runs normal. BTW I have mine in auto temp control mode 72 degrees and will open the rear window just a bit to purge out the heat. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk
