I would suspect limited slip issue in the rear diff, or an issue in the transfer case. Perhaps fluid change in both.
Obviously under warranty. Please post results of dealer fix.
I was (kind of) under the same impression. I know they advertise it as a seamless & smooth Start/Stop. One thing for sure, most folks (driving any brand) dislike Start/Stop.
I have a neighbor who bought RAM 1500 with eTorque, and he had so many eTorque problems, they took the truck back under...
I have '19 5.7L, I bought HPTuners setup about 8 months ago. But I bought brand new unlocked PCM, and have my OEM PCM sitting on a shelf as a backup.
HPTuners will let you do pretty much anything, including easily ruining your engine or trans. So caution is the key thing to remember. I've been...
I've corresponded with him a few times, he's always a bit slow. If you watch some of his videos on YouTube, you can see he's plenty busy and knowledgeable... and ... a lot of his installs are on RAM's.
That guy linked above at NetAudio, will have all your answers, for sure.......................
I have HK system in my '19 Longhorn, and plan on adding amp/sub. I have the amp already, and a decent 10" sub. I need a box, still undecided on ported or sealed. I bought (and installed) the ANC...
Interesting take, I've heard this before. I've also heard (more frequently) NOT to disable it, haha. There's no clear winner. But many folks seem to agree on the theory that a limited oil supply (especially at idle) to lifters and cam is the cause.
Whatever the cause, the infamous "hemi tick"...
I see they mention "1. Voice Recognition". Have they added any functionality on this feature? That is, any new commands? For instance, can you use voice command to turn on heated steering wheel??
Thanks
It'll DEFINITELY help those considering a purchase of RAM equipped with eTorque, as if all the other posts haven't already.
In other words, in plain English; IF IT HAS eTorque, DON'T BUY IT
Started shopping for a RAM about a year ago. Compiled a list of " must haves" and "must NOT haves". As I researched RAM 1500's, this eTorque jumped out as a useless gimmick to me, so that limited me to older trucks. I ended up looking at hundreds of trucks online, before settling on 2019...
Interesting notation about the extra fuel when letting off gas. Just for sh1ts and giggles, a couple of times while driving, I have rotated knob to N, and then revved the engine, and WOW, the rpm's took a long time to die down. I could never figure out the reasoning on that.
RE: trans coasting...
Watching.........................
I'm kinda in same boat. But I did buy HPTuners, and a brand new unlocked PCM, plus all the credits to tune. I've made a few small changes so far, but I'm no pro tuner. However, truck is running so good, I'm having a hard time justifying another ~$1k spent...
2019 RAM 1500 5.7L 5th Gen, non-eTorque...............Recently bought HPTuners MPVI3 dongle, got all their software, and 6 credits. I also bought their brand new unlocked Dodge PCM and installed that. So far, so good, truck runs perfect and is now ready for some little tweaks.
I am just getting...
Older thread, I know, but if you're still around..... Which part did they use to replace it?? I have seen a bunch of threads referencing issues specifically with the 2019 oil cooler. My truck is 2019 1500 Longhorn 5th Gen 5.7L. Did they use something different than the original?
Thanks to OP...
