I did. It was years ago so I don't remember exactly what I did but I'm pretty sure I only used the included spacers to raise them a little bit so they don't interfere with the glass.- MannymanX

Totally different handles. 4th gen handles are not compatible with 5th gen trucks. 4th gen handles come as one assembly: 5th gen handles are separate parts, door lock is its own part and the handle itself is its own part: -
