My 2021 Limited did not come with the factory bed extender. I found a used one for $75 and purchased a new lock. I have no idea how to remove the old lock and how to key the new one. Does anyone have any information or maybe a page from a factory service manual?

More than likely you need the key to be able to turn and then release a tab to remove the lock cylinder, like most locks. You may have to break something, and get a new part, to disassemble without a key. Hopefully somebody that knows for sure will chime in.
