Ya I was talking about the lower rocker panels and the flares around the fenders...not inside the fenders. Mine are getting all chipped up by winter road debris and it’s too late for a paint protective film.

The front end of my rear fender flares are trashed after 3,000 miles. The lower rocker panels are getting beat up as well. They use gravel on the icy roads here. I might LineX them.

My stickered payload is #1442 I have added some sftermarket products which have lowered that number. I plan to get my truck weighed as soon as I’m done with my mods. LineX plus Backflip cover Amp Power Steps Bigger wheels and tires I’m guessing I’m closer to #1150 remaining payload now.

Congrats! The Tacoma is pretty worthless for towing anything more then a teardrop or mini imho. My trailer has similar numbers, #4,500 dry, #7,000 GVWR. And it’s about as big as I want to tow with a half ton. Anything larger and I’d want a diesel truck.
