Took my truck in for Service for Airbags and Parksense. They cleared it by disconnecting battery for a while, and told me it was fixed. Ive searched high and low to find a cause. Lights worked fine in F38 prior to this, but for some reason started throwing codes. Now I know it was the draw...
You can tap into the tan wire in the harness inside the cab along the drivers side door or better yet drivers side rear door. Then carry that signal to a relay outside the cab using the pass through on the drivers side rear and use that to power a relay. Bring the 12V from the battery to the...
Installed the MK2 Pro from Alpha rex as the Halogen reflector lamps are on indefinite backorder from dealer. Was also told no upgrade from Halogen reflector in my 2020 1500 to a projector or LED. I believe there is likely a way, but OEM LED lamps were about 1500 each. My alpha rex were $600...
So I haven't gotten much done outside, Just some additional puddle lighting all the way around... and some Rock lights and ground effects... but the inside is what I see while Im in the truck, and Ive made some modifications there for sure... Front is my video streaming set-up for storm...

Thanks. I chase tornados here in the central US and like to have plenty of medical gear on hand if we need to stop and render aid. Also want the truck to be ready to go if we need to bug out for any reason.
Use the wire that is going to your courtesy lights as a trigger for a relay, and bring a new hot wire directly from the battery to power them. that way the computer doesn't see the drain on the circuit, and the lights come on and off with the courtesy lights.
Added led lighting for bed lights. Floor lights in the rear seat well, and for additional puddle lights at each door. Powered by courtesy light wire which throws a relay to power the lights… they come on with an unlock or door open and close after timer with courtesy lights.
Wanting to add some emergency corner strobes and a few flashers to the truck. In the last car I used Feniex hideaway strobes, and powered them through a switch on the dash. With the limited area for adding switches on the 2020 1500, I was thinki9ng about tying into the Hazard right switch wire...
