Using Ram dealer to replace rear bumper from collission, and dealer says truck (2019 Ram 1500) needs 8 software updates, but had no info on what they are for/do/benifits. Said something about 8 modules, each needs an update. Someone who knows is supposed to call me back, but I've got zero...
plenty as technically most of the 1500 are less than 6,000 lbs (3 Tons) so a single jack stand could support the entire truck as could the jack (I think some fully loaded 6'4" 4x4 etc trucks are just over 6K, but not sure, plus there is no way to jack up the entire truck using a floor...
not a must have for many (most trucks do not have them, so market speaks) - trade off is available space in bed. Also see other posts on this site about them leaking.
Yep, me too. FWIW you can (on my model at least) set the mirrors to tilt down to see the rear wheels automatically when in reverese, but there does not seem be any adjustment of how far they tilt and for me they tilt too far so I turned off that feature
guess have to define 'perfect' - I expected it to show something different than the full mirror, help with blind spot, help with a trailer, etc. mine just shows the same image, and smaller. similar the pic Dewey posted. What does yours show?
auto is useless, these trucks have the worst AC systems (maybe it improved in later years, but mine sucks!) 15 yr old toyota is smarter, auto will actually wait till the air in warm and control the volume and not blast cold air, or super hot air. I'm with you, not finding a need for auto.
Thanks everyone for the info - fixed (was blown fuse) and working. NOTE: it works with out a ground plug (so the ground prong hole does NOT actuate a micro switch)
Hello Fellow Ram 5th Gen owners,
I just bought a used 2019 BigHorn which has a AC outlet but it does not seem to work (did not check that before purchase :( ). Does anyone know where the fuse is for this? It must have an inverter somewhere, where is that located?
