Probably around a 15lb hit on payload. The weight savings on the DT mostly came from lighter, but stronger frame, and alum. suspension pieces & tailgate. The DS's hood was already aluminum I believe.

Do you have a link to the Recons in a SL 315/60r20? The tallest SL size I thought they made was 275/65/20 (34").

Gotcha, must the Alpine system I’m thinking of that’s 8ohm. Scratch that possibility then!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the base stereo runs 8ohm speakers, and those infinity’s are 3or4ohm if I remember right. Putting lower ohm speakers than designed for will over work the factory amp causing it to cut out.
