Can you post the part numbers for the non color specific parts and description of the color specific so people can find & order them? Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

    Adding passive entry

Has anyone talked to their service dept and asked if they could contact their own tech advisor to add the sales code? Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

I'd say it's a sure thing but nothing ever is. However, I'm confident itll work fine. I've actually gotten a lot of use out of mine since I put it in. I guess one good thing about the non-nav systems is they update pretty much instantly so I didnt have to wait. Of a more long term review...

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

Yeah, with those options there is different hardware behind the mirror. Again, I'm not sure if those take the place of the smartbeam camera that hulk listed the PN for. But he is correct, that is the right PN. There are a few different ones depending on other features (assist & sos for one) but...

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

Does yours have lane sense, adaptive cruise & all that? If so, you have different hardware than the trucks that just have smart beam. Not sure if they use the hardware for lane sense for smartbeam or if they also use the same camera Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Yes. Auto high beams is a better name for it. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

How do you like the smartbeam. I've seen people say it doesnt work well for them but they all seem to mainly live in city. I'm just a country boy, I rarely go into town (not even city, just town). So I figure it will work pretty well for me. Especially since if I do go into the city it's...

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

It actually looks under the frit. If you look at the windshield from the front of the truck, there should be a square cutout on the mirror shroud on the bottom right. That's where the camera would be Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Somebody please tell me there is a setting adjustment for this annoying issue I'm dealing with night after night after night!!!!!

Yes that was the page I was referring to. Maybe the illuminated entry feature is overriding the door ajar timer and that's why its shutting off so much quicker than it should.

    Tailgate skins or protective film

You can go to any company that does PPF and they should be able to do that for you. It'd be the same as the clear bra that people get on the front of their vehicles, just on the tailgate. Wouldn't notice it once applied. Xpel is one of the most popular. Xpel offers a tailgate kit for $300...

Somebody please tell me there is a setting adjustment for this annoying issue I'm dealing with night after night after night!!!!!

According to the manual the lights should stay on for 10 minutes if a door is ajar or the dimmer is rotated all the way up to the on position. No way that I am seeing to adjust that. But it definitely should be more than 90 seconds. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

Let me correct that and say if truck already had a humidity sensor, yes I believe it does. If not, I doubt it. We may get lucky and it be like the 4th gens where the harness runs right under the front of the head liner and a harness can be made/bought to tap in there to get the wiring needed for...

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

I believe so, yes. It communicates on the can bus and I believe it is through the same wire the rain sensor communicates through. On 4th gens if wiring was available for one it was available for both and the smartbeam mirrors are listed as compatible with both 4th and 5th gens. I dont know all...

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

Didnt see this as I was typing my reply. Yes. You can. If I decide I dont like the rain sense I can turn it off. And I'd just be out the $50ish bucks for the sensor. But I kept the old one so I guess you could say I have a spare humidity sensor lol Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Rain Sensing Wipers (Not equipped but have the part)

Jury is still out. Unless its pouring out I'm very much a turn on for one wipe when I need it kind of person. The rain I had yesterday was too intermittent for me to mess with the different sensitivities. I could see liking it in 1 or 2. But it did work well. When I was testing with a squirt...
