Just FYI, I ended up having my back window replaced from the crack and had my auto insurance cover it as I have zero deductible on all glass so ended up being no cost out of pocket for it. But still this being a huge known issue it is quite disappointing that Ram has not done a recall yet.
@RamCares just heard back from the dealership that indeed my rear window frame is cracked which is causing a leak and also took out my rear window defrost. The extended warranty through mopar does not cover this. This is a widely known issue with these models, why is this not cover? I am...
Just dropped my truck off at the dealership this morning for my rear window defrost not working and also the dreaded rear window frame crack. My truck is out of warranty but have an extended warranty through Mopar so just hoping it doesn't take weeks to fix as my local dealership said they...
The reduce trailer brake force button on my integrated controller sticks in and causes my controller to not work. I can use a pick tool to get it to come back out and function again but cannot press the reduce button as it will stick again. Anyone have experience if i can just lube up that...
I installed the bed rail kit into my Limited, had a bit of trouble getting in the inserts into the holes due to the spray-in bedliner. Took a small file and filed down the liner a bit and was able to tap in the insert fairly easy.
yes the dealership I now go to now provides a free of charge loaner. (a "fantastic" 2019 Chrysler T&C) The previous dealership I used to go to would charge $30 a day for a loaner, part of the reason I don't go there anymore.
I had the exact same thing you just described, they replaced both the sunroof and sunshade motors and we are back and working again. Plan on leaving your truck at the dealership for a few days while they figure it out.
So just checked on my 2019 Limited build was 5/19 and it has the active air damn. I didn't think i had one until I saw this thread and crawled under to check.
Something I learned today, the carpet on my Limited floor mats unbutton to be able to be removed. I was going to buy husky floor mats for winter as I knew the carpet would get wet from snow and mud. But now I can just remove the carpet portion and have a full rubber mat for the winter. SCORE...
I thought i remember seeing someone said the factory box is about .8 cubic feet big, I don't know if this is correct or not though. And yeah, low-pass is what I meant, got my working backwards there.
Funny this is the first vehicle that I really want to change the factory system since my 95...
Following, I have also thought about replacing the factory sub with a slim aftermarket in the same box. Maybe even putting in a high pass filter for anything over 80hz to help with the boomyness.
I have had this happen to me twice now, both times I think it is tied to when I hit my memory preset and start the truck while it is still in the middle of moving my seat. I noticed this because both times were after my wife drove the truck and had selected her memory preset. Not 100% if this...
