I'm going to be replacing mine as it's all rusty. I'll let you know how it does. I don't believe Mopar uses a gasket, just RTV silicone.

Anything that's MS12991 rated. Pennzoil, quaker state, and Castrol all make easily available oils.
For filters I run OEM but a lot are happy with docs or ecoguard.

Super easy to do. Make sure you check your owner's manual to ensure you get the proper gear oil depending on what rear end you have.
Theres lots of videos on YouTube. I've done mine twice in 147,000km.

Not long ago. I've never sat in a Denali but from the pics and videos I've seen the materials still don't look as nice as my limited.
I could be wrong. It's very subjective I guess.

My problem with the GM trucks is the interior materials are not near the quality of the Ram. The door cards and plastic look very cheap, also the Bose Soundsystem isn't very good.
The duramax 3.0 is a great engine though and incredibly smooth and quiet.

Yep love my ecodiesel, it's truly a shame ram discontinued it. 26-28MPG all day long even with 3.92 gears. Tows my enclosed 7x16 snowmobile trailer amazing and gets 18-20mpg doing it.
147,000km and zero issues. A couple buddies have the new duramax 3.0 which are great engines as well but the...
It's not $100 for you Americans. You can get 5 quarts of oil for $20-25 on sale. The list of approved oils is long. You can get aftermarket filters from Fram, Wix, Ecoguard, Napa for cheap.
Your bias towards the Ecodiesel is insane. Even if my oil change is double that of a Hemi, one tank of...
Not really, oil changes aren't that expensive. A ton of aftermarket filters now for $20-30 and oil is cheap.
I'll keep replacing my fuel filters every other change. My truck is out of warranty anyways
146,000km and zero issues.

Nice write up. I was looking at it but I'll think I'll stick with stock.
I wish PPE would make an oil pan for the Ecodiesel. My stock one is rusted badly.

Like others have said, I think I would skip that truck. Sounds like it's had it's fair share of issues and the last thing you want on a trip is a breakdown.
