It eats both Valvoline synthetic 5w30 and Mobil 1 5w30.
I bought some Pennzoil Euro LX 0w30 to try but I ending up using Redline 0w30 this winter.. but I do all my towing in the summer so I don’t know how either would do.
Was planning on switching to M1 0w40 this summer to see if it helps with consumption as my Hemi has been eating about 1 qt of 5w30 every 3k mi while towing.
Have you been happy with the 0w40?
I assume you’re referring to this document that’s labeled DT…
It also shows 65RFE trans, 32 gallon tank and no MFT option. This is DS document that’s mislabeled.
Despite the Laramie Longhorn name, it has always had equal content/features as the Limited; minus the air suspension.
They rebranded it Limited Longhorn a few model years ago since the Laramie name was misleading.
That thread supports my comment. Again, not a single truck there without optional equipment.
The closest comparison on there is Zeronet’s truck with 1,479 lbs of payload… dropping the optional 33g tank for the standard 26g saves 42 lbs which would put it over 1,500 lbs
Not enough information to make a comparison. Is his ‘23 a zero option Limited? It doesn’t say.
Ram lists maximum trim payload with no options. So 1,370 lbs is the best you can hope for with the HO if you don’t add any options. Start checking boxes and it will fall from there.
On the bright...
