    Billet Silver vs. Max Steel

As for keeping Max Steel clean, it kinda depends on personal preference for what is “clean enough”. Here’s what I would consider to be dirty, about two weeks without a wash and running a mile or so on a dry/dusty dirt road: And about 45 minutes later after going through the car wash:

    Billet Silver vs. Max Steel

While I’m happy with the Max Steel I wouldn’t kick this out of my driveway!

Haha I thought about that too. :)

    New Hitch

Got a B&W tow and stow adjustable hitch last week. Very happy with how it looks and works. High quality and precisely made. Towed a 3-horse trailer, 3 horses and tack over the weekend (~7500 pounds total) with no problems. Highly recommended if you’re in the market.

This. I also like the darker paint with chrome. I liked the white and silver in the sport package.

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

Had my truck at the dealer this week for the clunk, gave them the star case that’s mentioned much earlier in this thread (like page 10). They found and tightened loose bolts in the front lower control arms. Technician rode with me afterwards and we heard no clunks. Since then I have heard a...

For those who are interested or are researching color choices here’s a close-up in the sun after a wash. And here’s one with the n-fab matte black steps:

    Maximum Steel Owners...

I have a Laramie with the 20” wheels in Max Steel. Love the color and I agree with Bwarren2 that the chrome sets it off nicely. I had wanted the sport package until I saw this. You do see some dirt a little more than the lighter colors, but it’s worth it!

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

Good question. I’m like 90% sure it’s on compression but will check the next time I drive.

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

I think your description is similar to how I view the situation, maybe minus the stored energy piece. IMHO the clunk occurs when the load on the frame is high relative to one of the corners of the cab. Which when you think about it puts a lot of pressure on one of the four isolators. Which is...

Automatic high beams and Automatic rain wipers.

For the rain sensing wipers, my experience (2019 Ram, 2017 Pacifica) is that more clicks on the wipers increases the sensitivity. So “one click from off” may only be enough when the windshield is really wet. I’ve had similar problems with the auto high beams around town. I have a Laramie, and...

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

I also have the clunk, heard the same way as others have said - mostly when turning at low speed when the suspension travels. I have a Laramie 4x4, started hearing it at 100 miles. June ‘18 build which seems to be pretty common. Brought it in to the dealer - they heard it but couldn’t find...
