My truck is making the same noise. Was there ever a resolution to this?

They come on with the tailgate open and will stay on unless I go into the truck and turn them off. They also come on when I unlock it

I have a 19 Bighorn

I put the cargo lights from Lasfit in mine. On occasion if I try to start with a door open it will say "key undetected." Once I get in and close the door (cargo lights go off) no problems at all. They are still 1000% worth it for me though. I don't have bed lights, and these give off a TON of light.

Seems to be the same as the Mopar part. Great deal at $26, would have bought that instead had I known

Good to know! Ordering them in the near future. I'm embracing the chrome look rather than color matching everything. Looks more classy to me

Crazy how low they're willing to go to cut costs. Looks like they put it on trucks with the push button tailgate drop because it would just slam open otherwise

So I found this searching mopar parts online and could not believe how easy it was to install. My tailgate didn't have a damper so it more or less just flopped open. The damper goes in really easy because the mounting studs are already there. Pulled the tail light out and threw it on, what a...

Fitted the new bulbs today. WOW are they bright at night, for $20 I couldn't ask for more. Will update if it suddenly starts leaking. Cleaned the gasket and truck surface. Tightened all the screw evenly, being extra careful

Yes I would for sure clean the surface/seal so its free of any debris

After seeing a bunch of threads about leaking third brake light I'm now hesitating to install led cargo lights in it. Has anyone experienced leaks only after breaking a possible seal to replace bulbs? Could be me just being paranoid but it defiantly won't be worth the led light if it stats...
