Well, after just over 3 months, I was finally able to find a new MGU (eTorque generator) and install it. This is after going through 16 different dealers, all of which showed this part in stock, only to cancel the order within a day or two. I found mine at a local dealer who ordered one for a...

It gets worse. The eTorque generator is on nationwide backorder with no ETA, so my truck is out of service for who knows how long. It's absurd that a part that costs as much as this can fail right outside the warranty window, but not being able to source a replacement is not sitting well with me.
My generator is working but makes some horrible noises so I have one ordered. Eating the expense since the warranty on this system ends at 80k and I am at 88k. Steve White Parts showed it in stock, $1093 including shipping and the $75 core. Not ideal to be spending this on a 3 year old truck.
Finally got the chance to do a tear down today, and it was inconclusive. Removed the belt, spun each belt driven part, no noise, no roughness of any kind. Of course, I put it all back together and the sound is still there and clearly coming from the MGU. When I spun it by hand, it was smooth...
Nothing about it looks to be anything but routine, I saw a TSB somewhere about the MGU and it mentioned programming the gear ratio and that didn't make any sense to me. Apparently the water pump belt is a stretch to install type and it's a one time use deal.
I didnt turn up anything with a search, apologies if this has been covered. Does anyone know if the 2019 5.7 eTorque generator is something that I can replace? My truck is at 87k miles, 7k past the warranty on the hybrid components, and the MGU is making some unhappy noises for the first few...
A mediator for Ram will handle everything, and the inspection process is quite thorough. I had a Challenger bought back for paint issues, and the mediator even measured the tread depth on the tires and verified that the HK sub in the trunk was still there.
My aftermarket steps wouldnt use one stud on each bracket, I was thinking that they used 3 out of 4 but its been a year and I dont remember. No problems with them though.
I dont know if its been covered elsewhere, but I found a $25 SGW bypass on Amazon and it works perfectly. Used this to enable my rain sensing wipers last night.

So, after upgrading to OEM 20's, I still have my 18" original wheels and tires with the TPMS sensors still installed. If I replace my temporary spare with a full sized, will that additional sensor confuse the TPMS system?
2019 Big Horn 4x4, 5.7 eTorque, 43,000 miles and counting. My only issue has been a bolt rusting off on the muffler that I drilled out and replaced and the start/stop system would show as unavailable a couple times in the morning but it hasnt done this since I fixed the exhaust leak. I would buy...
