I used the OPT7 and used a very similar method for mounting it. It's been installed for over 6 months with no issues.

I installed the Hellwig rear sway bar. Set it to the middle setting. I definitely noticed an improvement immediately.

And oddly enough, I received a new vehicle health report this morning that states all systems passed. I did notice that the earlier health report email also stated that I had service offers available, so it looks like you might be right!
