Neither my 15 nor my 23 Limited have “slippery” seats.
I use a cleaner/conditioner.
For a quick easy clean/maintain, I use Chemical guys leather wipes.
Once a year I’ll get the Leather Better out, wipe them down, let it set then buff it off.
I think, the key is natural ingredients like beeswax...
All good points boys.
I know you covered manufacturer’s desire to sell cars.
Let’s not forget oil company’s desire to sell you magical oil… and if they extend the life, they’ll charge you more…since you’ll be buying it less frequently. Yep, I get it costs more to manufacture… but not at the...
My take..
Everyone is an expert, and everyone has an opinion.
Ask someone the best oil, you’ll get just as many answers.
Ask someone how often to change.. you’ll get nearly as many.
My 2008 had lifetime powertrain. My 2015 had Max Care unlimited (Original owner only, me) My 2023 has 8yr, 125K...
I wish I would’ve known that when I traded in my 2015 with over 140K on it, zero motor issues, and the whole time I only changed it with 10% or less oil life…with…gasp…conventional oil.
Here’s what I can say…
On my 2015…I went through 4 windshields in 8 years I owned it.
Within the first year, got a chip that turned into a long crack within days (I already had made the appointment to get the chip fixed/sealed) it was winter…and the heat/cold cycle just gave it hell.
Safelight...
Nailed it.
My ceramic/PPF guy released a video on FB about this product…when I asked about it… he said his experience is it does scratch fairly easy with wipers due to dust and other crap that …ta da… lands on your windshield. He uses it in pleasure/weekend cars like high end sports cars that...
I think it’s standard for Limiteds period.
My 2023 lists it under standard equipment…before all the add on packages (27M, Night Edition, and Limited level 1)
I just pulled a random 2020 Limited VIN for sale locally and the window sticker also says Remote tailgate release under standard equipment...
If you scroll down on the main forum page, there’s two.
Chrysler Factory Warranty’s and Zach@ Granger.
Both have websites to help you price and get an idea.

GND, while I don’t have the issue with crappy dealers, mine has always taken pretty good care of me… I always go factory Mopar Max Care.
Longer you wait…the more it costs.
There are several on here that sell the real deal factory warranty, it’s the cheapest when you buy it prior to 1 year, 12K...
GND…I’m not trying to pour salt on the wounds… promise I’m not. And I’m sorry for your luck.
This…is the exact reason I buy extended warranties.
Should I have to? No. Do I like it? No. Do I hope to use it? Nope.
Have they saved me money overall on my last two trucks, my 08 and 15? Yep...
I have the radio to combat that… LOL. But I hear you… or “it” I should say. IF I open the rear slider, it is a bit noisy at speed.
I rarely open the slider, but the sunroof is open every single time it can be :)
I like the stow and go availibility of the factory soft tri fold. Easy on, easy...
I got the ESI kit. Directions kinda suck. I have a 23 limited w/ ram boxes and factory tri fold.
Is it water proof? No. With the ESI kit…rain stays out 95% or better. But going through a touchless car wash OR using a power washer, it’s going to get a little wet in there.
Best thing you can...
