As someone who had lifetime powertrain on my 2008 Ram Laramie and the unlimited miles max care on my 2015 limited.
I also purchased 8year, 125K mile max care for my 2023 Limited.
Knock on wood, 27K miles on my 2023 Limited no real issues yet. A few items replaced under factory bumper to bumper...
Or a bad connector for cyl 3. Can you reset the code and drive it? I can’t see a spark plug going bad from a wash. I can’t see a bad connector, wire, etc., related to that cylinder.
Completely normal.
I believe the temp sensors are in the side view mirrors…and they’ll bake in the sun like the interior of your truck.
Give it a few minutes…it’ll level out once driving.
Keep in mind, 8yr/80K miles on the whole system warranty.
Does that help if parts aren’t in stock, no, and I get that.
I have a 8yr 125K mile max care, which doesn’t cover the 48V battery pack past 80K but it does cover the generator.
From $1500 to $2500 for the 48V battery should it go bad in...
There’s a pretty good video of a lead engineer that worked on the e-torque and he goes over each “feature” of it while someone else is driving.
Here you go…not an overly long video…but it does a good job explaining.
More than fair. My comparison is three prior rams, all Hemi, 06, 08, and a 15.
I went 3:21 in my 2023 cause I really don’t tow too much anymore.. if anything, I don’t feel a slight dip going from gear to gear.
I 100% can tell… regenerative braking. Going from car to car… big difference slowing...
That’s actually not accurate. S/S is only one feature. Other benefits…we can debate if they are useful or not, sure. But S/S is only one feature of e-t.
Plenty of videos and documentation about its other features. Again, not arguing if they’re useful/beneficial, that’s personal opinion.
Just...
I’ll be selling my current truck private, hopping on a plane, then heading down to Mark Dodge for my next Ram… and make it a mini vacation on the way back to Metro Detroit.
Since I get employee pricing, I always just found what I want locally, or ordered, in Metro Detroit. MD has better...
23 LImited, 25K miles. Haven’t noticed any difference between the two. I don’t use my ramboxes day in, day out.
They’re storage for what I don’t want rolling around in the cab or the bed.
Curious if it can be tightened and how if you decide to go that route.
If that’s what your truck looks like.. he’s gotta be a helluva lot worse for wear…
And yep, I don’t have an EBike, but I do have a Harley and it’s full coverage.
I don’t have bicycle insurance…and I rarely ride mine for the same reason I rarely ride my Harley anymore.
Too many distracted...
I would ask the service manager since that advisor and tech are no longer there, if you, and the rest of the customers that work done by either, can get a full refund…
When they scoff, tell them that’s how you feel..
In all seriousness. They ordered a part under warranty. It’s documented...
I hear you, I am 100% clear on 12V starter vs. 48V Generator for stop/start once conditions are met such as engine temp, cabin temp, etc…
I’m looking more or less for information directly leading to the Generator failure due to stop/start…not just assumptions.
No offense.. G.
I’d like to hear...
