In cleaning my steering wheel with a clean damp cloth (water only) it seems like there is a coating on the steering wheel that has somewhat come off in places. Has anyone experienced this? This is not rubbing hard at all. Does anyone know of a way to "refinish" the steering wheel?
I have almost 80k miles on my truck now and was going to change fluids on differentials and transfer case over to Amsoil products. Is there anything I should know before doing that?
How can I positively verify whether I have limited slip or not? I do not see any mention of it on the window sticker. I have the 3.92 with E-locker if that helps.
I am looking at new tires and trying to decide if I should upgrade to LT tires or if the XLs are fine for my use.
I have a boat that I tow (no long distances) that on the trailer weighs ~5,000 lbs. I am also on gravel roads, off road some (mostly farm type conditions) and on the beach when...
This sounds like a stupid question but ss there a power steering fluid reservoir on these trucks? Or is that a sealed system that needs no maintenance?
I am changing rear differential fluid and refilling with Amsoil gear oil. I have the 3.92 gears with e-locker axle. From what I can find that would NOT require the limited slip additive. Is that correct?
I received an email from RAM service yesterday with an alert saying my powertrain malfunction indicator light had been triggered. There is no light or message on in the truck and it drives normally. Has anyone else gotten this? Could the email have been sent erroneously?
I recently did the update to the latest UConnect software. I have my clock setting to "synch w/GPS" however it did not change to daylight savings time. Not sure if it has anything to do with the update but is anyone else having this problem?
I recently updated my UConnect software. Has anyone noticed that your key fob doesn't seem to work from as far away as it did before the most recent update? I used to be able to lock/unlock from inside the house. Now I have to be within probably 20 feet of the truck.
If you had the floor mat recall done (basically a hack job on the mat) is FCA going to provide a new designed mat or are you just on your own to buy a new one if you want it?
