I just had one installed in my 2020 1500 Limited and I specifically said I don't want the tank installed in my bed as I have the Ramboxes and don't want to lose bed space. Go to pick it up and my spare is in my bed and the tank is where the spare is.......Its the 8gal tank and its massive. Now...
Got some major upgrades this week. BDS 4" Lift plus new XD 20" wheels with added 35's in the Nitto Ridge Grappler. As an added bonus did the HornBlaster Conductor Train horns....which is ungodly loud....may be having reservations on it, but nothing else so far. Need to work on some better pic's.
So I finally pulled the trigger on the BDS 4" Lift. I also upgraded to some new XD 20" Rims with the Nitto Ridge Grappler in 35's. No rubing w/ the 35's. Definitely a little higher than I expected at the normal 3 position on the air ride, but not to big of a deal. Will work on some better pics.
2020 Limited 4WD, tonneau cover, 3.92 rear end and 12 mile commute via expressway to and from work and city driving and its nothing better than 14.9. I am not a heavy foot at all. 1,956 miles as of this post. Came from a Yukon Denali and easily got 17-18 doing same driving. Definitely...
My biggest hold up on this whole deal is the mpg effect. I am at 1956 miles and its 15mpg. Know some folks say it gets better at 5K miles, but some things I have read 3-4 drop in mpg after lifted the switch to much larger tires. Last thing I want is 11mpg and can barely pass a gas station...
Gonna go with the BDS 4” Lift and the Nitto 35’s on some new XD’s. Hoping to get it all finished next week and will post some before and after pics. Hoping I don’t regret the 4” lift definitely more than I had planned on doing.
