Happy to take a listen. For mine, they replaced the tensioner as well. It was straight forward and they didn't mention anything else.
I did a little digging and found this video clip on youtube. Pretty close to the noise I was hearing especially when he revs it.
BayouGatorz & Willwork4truck, did your etorque start making a whining noise before it failed completely and if so, how long after the noise started did it fail? I just brought my 2019 Limited in and they identified the etorque & tensioner as the source of the whine on mine. Parts are backordered...
Sorry for the delay in responding, it's just been an absolutely insane week for me at work. Picked up my baby last Friday, it took then a couple of days to get a new RF Hub. Spoke to the tech that did the work, and thankfully there was no sign of water infiltration through either the rear window...
With it being a 5yr old battery, one of the first things I did was put a tester on it to ensure it wasn't the problem. Battery health was reporting 95% with an 89% charge. Plus I swapped it out with a brand new battery and got the same results.
Thanks for the info. Knock on wood, I haven't seen any signs of leaking. I remember reading about the leak issue when I first got it and was super paranoid about it and would check constantly.
Fingers crossed, I just got off the phone with the dealership and if they can, they'll try to get it...
So interesting thing seems to have happened to may baby. Went out yesterday morning and my key fob wasn't working. Grabbed my wife's fob and same thing. All the doors were unlocked which isn't normal. When I opened the door to get in, the sidestep extended like normal so I knew it wasn't a dead...
Absolutely LOVE THEM!!! I've been a fan of MT since the 80s when I built my first CJ. I probably have at least 2k miles on them at this point and am very impressed on how they handle in the rain. I'm like you and my pavement princess won't see any true off-road use (I have other toys for that 🙃).
I'm running the stock 285/45R22 size on my pavement princess, and couldn't be happier. She's never going to see any kind of trails, so they're were just for look. Probably have about 1500 to 2000 miles on them and they're awesome in rain. The only noise I hear is the sidewall grabbing when the...
I love the look of the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT. I stuck with the stock 22" rims and have no complaints. It gave me the beefier look I was looking for. Surprisingly quiet and comfortable ride. For a while I toyed with the idea of going with the 285/55/22 for a little more sidewall but it's...
Sorry I forget exactly how to get to it, I think it's the info button while you're in NAV. You should see GPS Reliability. If it's reading "NONE", then it most likely is a hardware issue, at least that was the case with my 2019 Limited.
Come up to Ontario if you want real snow. Barrie is less than an hour north of Toronto :) Getting 2' dumped in a single snowfall isn't that uncommon. Yeah you can get around with a 2wd, but the extra traction is nice when Mother Nature is in a pissy mood.

Like a lot of others that live in northern climates, I bought my 4x4 Limited for the winter conditions I have to drive through not to go off-roading. I consider my Limited more of a "working princess", unlike a lot of people that are buying pickup trucks and will never use them for what they...
Funny the amount of debate over an article published by a site that included an "artist's rendering" which was done by someone that has absolutely no connection whatsoever with Ram. Personally, I'll wait until someone connected with Ram releases an official teaser before I decide whether I like...
