I'm having these same tires installed next week. I hope I am happy with them. I just retired and plan on taking some pretty long road trips and 'Quiet' was high on the priorities for me. It is weird that these are not more talked about, because they had a 10.0 rating in nearly every category...

If your coating is that weak, then you blew a lot of cash on nothing. One run through a car wash will not cause any issues. I've used one weekly (yes, with the rollers) for three years with minimal scratches. Yes, even in the sun. I do NOT have any coatings. Just the stock paint and clear coat...

Wow, thank you for the feedback. You addressed all my thoughts/questions/concerns. Very much appreciated. I like the look of aggressive tires, but the noise for the commute is also a concern.

What tires do you have on your truck? Do you like how they handle the snow? I'm pretty close to needing tires but want something that can handle traction in the snow.

The tires take up a little more room in the wheel wells. Looks better. What size wheel and tires?

Maybe FCA/RAM wanted it larger to accomodate blue collar workers that may be working with gloves/cold weather.

If he has a topper, I would guess it's hard to stand up... so crawling would be a must.
