Non E-torque no problem, My vehicle is E torque and it was all a very tight fit on the back wall with the battery and other modules that take up 60% of the wall

What do you mean by spun off. A picture might help with this. Ball joints are supposed to swivel and rotate and if broke you wouldnt be able to use it or safely drive on it so im really not sure there is anything wrong here.

That first pic the holes are not drilled its just set back there, the rivnuts go where the harness clips are behind the panel and then i bolted it in with countersunk bolts into the panel and the mosconi 5 channel actually covers the bolts up so you dont see them.
I have a board I created specifically for the E-torque models. I still have the template and can create another. I attached it with 2 M6 rivnuts and and M10 rivnut in exsiting blind holes behind the panel. Will also work with non E-torque. Contact me for more information
