Update #2: Truck is still leaking. The body shop took the truck apart (fenders off, cowl etc). He found a few spots in the seam sealer that looked potentially to be the issue. Sealed them up, poured the water to it again, and sure enough it is still leaking through the pinch weld and puddling...

Update: Got mine back from the body shop today. Apparently there were two plugs on the A-pillar improperly installed. So they fixed them and added some sealant to be safe they said.... Well turns out they were wrong, still leaking. So back to the body shop it goes.....they are going to tear...

Its a big deal in my eyes for sure... Pretty sad when you see pictures of new trucks patched with some silicone, pathetic on Rams behalf if you ask me.....

Man that's crazy!! I'm up here in Northern Alberta, so we have quite a different climate. Its quite dry all the time so its easy for something like this to go unnoticed.

Anyone on these pages would notice, because we are truck guys. But there are still lots of people who buy a vehicle and just let it get disgusting haha. Those are the people who are not going to realize it or bring it to anyone's attention.

The fact that both 2019 Rams I have owned, built 8 months apart, have the same issue, yes I would say it is more wide spread than you think.....It will probably go unnoticed by a lot of owners...
