The speakers I pulled out of the doors were stamped with 4ohm and I replaced them with 4ohm. The only difference is the wattage. I don’t know the power rating for the factory speakers but I know they’re nowhere near the 300w the infinitiy’s are rated for.
Thanks. I’m not concerned that’s it’s the radio or the speakers, rather just the speakers wanting
More power than the radio can give them.
And I’m using the speaker wires as inputs out of the kicker KIS4 module into the amplifier rather than an LOC. regardless from my understanding using this...
So far. I ordered a kenwood 100watt x 4 channel amp, the kicker KIS module ( was only $40 on Amazon ) and the PAC anc bypass module so I can cut the speaker wires to run to the kicker module and amp.
From reading a few comments I believe this should work but there were so many other comments...
I’m curious how many other rams have a black roof?
I know there’s the black widow package out there where they do this, but aside from that, how many of you have two tone rams?
Hello everyone.
I’ve been reading page after page and haven’t found what I’m looking for.
I replaced all factory speakers with the infinity reference 6x9’s and 3.5”s in the dash.
2020 ram 1500 Base radio, ANC bypassed.
When I turn the volume up past 22/24 the speakers cut out. Which I’m...
Update.
Just got my truck back last night 12-22-21 and is in "perfect" running condition.
Seems as if the PDC was the actual problem.
only took 23 days at the dealership...
Update: Stopped at the dealership Friday 12/10/21 ( Day number 11 it's been at the dealership ) to get a status update and make my presence known ( To keep them on their feet ) and the service manager and the woman in charge of my case both greeted me. They went back to talk to the technician...
It was a lease turn in from the same dealership.
I wouldn't think they'd turn around and put it back out on the lot with this issue known, knowing it would end up right back at their door.
Right, the talk about all of this was for what to anticipate in the future if this problem persists, or my truck never makes it out of the dealership.
This is just the beginning, and judging from other peoples experiences it seems like theres a high potential for this to be on ongoing thing...
3 days may not seem like a lot, but when you buy a brand new vehicle, it shouldnt be in the dealership longer than getting its oil changed...
I didnt go out and spend this kind of money to have a vehicle end up not working at stuck at a dealership.
Well I know my options for arbitration are non-existant because the dealer makes you sing a document agreeing not to Arbitrate before you can buy the vehicle.
So i guess ill have to read up on the lemon laws, because from everything i've been reading, is it sounds like they're going to have my...
Is it possible to make them buy it back, or give me a new truck? or make them pay me for all of the days they have it at the dealership so i'm not paying on a vehicle i purchased from them, that they have in their posession?
UPDATE:
This is now day 3 that my truck has been at the dealership.
I had to call them yesterday at almost 3pm because they had not called me yet.
They told me they replaced the STAR module and that did not fix it, so today, day 3, they will be contacting Chrysler to open a case and try to...
