It's not for a bumper, just a winch mount that hides behind the stock bumper. I'm not sure about other models but I'd guess that the only stopping point would by any active aero.
I'll share as things get going. Just got a snugtop cap and will be working on a sleeping platform/drawer system the next few weeks. Lights to come soon as well. I'll probably keep the stock suspension until next summer. I'd love to get some sliders and skid plates soon but both of those are hard...
As of a few months ago, I was ready to complain but just got a new job with a longer highway/mtn pass commute and I'm now getting between 17-19 mpg round trip (obviously down is better then up). I've even see the lifetime MPG hit 20 twice in the past few weeks. Definitely helps that I'm...
This is why I ended up buying my truck from a dealership that had been given Crystler's Customer First Award for Excellence. Compared to the dealers I was shopping at without it, they were head and shoulders above. Unfortunately, they're about 35 minutes further so we'll see how the others do...
As much as I love it in theory, I had to turn it off. It would always press the brakes when I was backing in somewhere and trying to park slightly over the curb (which is 90% of the time I back in).
Wish I had it as an option for my Rebel. Would be great for rock crawling without a spotter. Unfortunately it also sounds like it's impossible to retro-fit.
Except the Quad Cab only comes with a 6'5" bed. Even more weird is that the bed size options for a 1500 are 6'5" or 5'7"...no 5'5".
There are less places around me that carry snugtop but it seems like to me that they have the best fitment.
Looks like SnugTop has updated their site to show availability for the Double Cab with a 5.5ft bed. Is that even an option for the 1500? Seems like they use their own cab naming rather then the OEM naming.

I assume this is for the crew cab. Anyone have any instructions for the quad cab? It seems like the pull cord is facing up (rather then down) but wont budge no matter the angle I pull.
