Thanks, OLM is good, just under 50%. I'm not psychotic about oil changes, but again, the general consensus seems to be to lean towards more frequent changes.
Hoping I don't start a war, but I have a legit question I'm slightly torn over.
It seems like the general consensus is to be a little more frequent with oil changes on the Hemi 5.7L from what I've read.
I currently have just under 5000 miles on the current oil, relatively easy miles, but...
I do my own oil changes and didn't keep receipts, largely because some of the oil was purchased a while ago. But I have photos of each change complete with 10sec videos of the oil coming up to pressure on the start up. Hope that'll suffice if I get in a pinch. Knowing my luck, it won't...
Stripes. Early 80s movie with Bill Murray and Harold Ramis (Egon from Ghostbusters) when they did everything together and were still friends. They had a falling out during Groundhog Day. Anyways, it's a cult classic, stupid as all get out, but if you like Bill Murray, it's hilarious.

Which is the reason for the post... I mean, it says it in the manual -- don't let it idle for long periods. I don't think I destroyed the engine, but at the same time, it kinda sucks to know you made a mistake.
Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't own a car/truck. Or anything nice.
So my kiddo (6yr old) LOVES airplanes. We drove by the airport today and saw one take off up close from the busy road, and she got so excited - it was awesome actually. Well, I pulled off so we could watch more, and when she...
Just putting this out there, even though I know a few threads have been started already.
In 6400 miles, I have had two instances where I’ve started the engine and heard the 5 second clatter. The first was at about 1500 miles on the factory fill and oil filter, and the second was on a Fram...
