Brake lights not working on EU converted 2019 1500 Laramie

Not sure if I'll have much luck here, as most of you are in the US, though still worth a try. I drive a 2019 RAM 1500 DT Laramie, which I originally bought new in Belgium. That means it has been converted for the EU, which relates mostly to converting the lights. Recently, someone pointed out...

5th Gen Ram 1500 30" Light Bar Bracket Set

Excellent write-up with pictures! Thanks! Honestly, I'm a bit underwhelmed by the additional light this brings, so indeed, I guess changing the position of the led bar might help with this. Would be very interested in some more pictures after you made any changes. It's great to see though, as...

    Moonroof squeaking. What to use?

Wouldn’t that be something for white grease?

2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Tailgate won’t open

WD40 white grease I hope, not the standard WD40? That’s only meant to loosen things up, not really a proper lubricant.

Cab Over America Cab Markers (LED)

There’s some more posts about these on the forum. People complain about the short time the batteries last and the fact that they get ‘out of sync’

2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Tailgate won’t open

Have you tried lifting it upwards and pushing it away from you a bit while pressing the push-button? That should normally do it. Can there be something in the bed pushing against the tailgate? That’s a quite common cause.

    2020 Ram Wont Start. HELP

I had this last Friday , when my battery was empty after being parked for a day at the office. The assistance guy coming to help me had done a ‘reset’ to make it start again. At first instance, everything worked again after using the booster starter, except for acc/ignition. After the reset...

2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Tailgate won’t open

Honestly, I thought at first that with the white grease it was better, but was only for a very short while. I still need to push the tailgate a bit upwards if I want it to open. I'll have it checked at the dealership next Friday.

How are the 2019's holding up?

40,000 miles, no major issues. Tailgate had some trouble opening, but I think I resolved that with some white grease. Other than that, just the regular oil and filter changes. No issues yet.

2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Tailgate won’t open

I do recognise that pushing while pressing the button or handle helps for me as well. And indeed, when I have something in the bed pushing against the tailgate, it will be very difficult to open. ordered some wd40 white grease and will try to adjust the latches as well, when the weather permits 😊
