Before 2019, you could buy the cable for $100 on Amazon and just plug it in to the engine heater.
I've no idea if the 2019 has the plug and heater pre-installed in the same fashion, or if it requires a full install now.
Same for me. I leave an old iPod classic plugged in, and every day when I start the truck, it doesn't show in the media list. I have to unplug the iPod and plug it back in again to get U Connect to recognize it. Annoying.
Oil filters are a great topic on any vehicle board - everyone's got a preference. My problem is finding a match for a 2019 RAM. Most of the lookup tables only go to the 2018.
My question: is the 2019 5.7 Hemi using the same filter as the 2018 5.7 Hemi? Has the motor changed at all? :confused:
I brought mine to a local shop to apply Auto Armor paint and undercarriage protection. I've had it on trucks in the past, and believe it's a worthwhile coating; esp in the cold, snowy, salty climate up here. I do not think it's ceramic, though. And, it only ran about $500
My truck came with the MOPAR mats. I've had Weathertechs before, and will eventually replace these MOPARs. The MOPARS are prettier, but they're a softer compound and will likely wear out quicker.
Just a short intro. After a life-time of Toyotas, the '19 Ram 1500 swayed me away from brand loyalty. Great ride, and a beautiful truck.
