What did you do to your Ram today???

They’re different! A sonofagun to polish!
They’re actually coated with CarPro DLUX, so maintenance is much easier.IMG_2845.jpeg
Brake dust and dirt don’t stick that much, and they clean up pretty quick 👍

Here in Latvia / Europe most people are into Night Edition and de-chrome (blackout) setups, but I’ve always liked chrome and polished finishes.

After all, it’s a Longhorn — so I’m leaning into that style and adding as much chrome and polished detail as I can.

Just picked up my new Mopar mud flaps and hood deflector. PPF and tint coming first, then these get put on. RamBox separators installed on driver side (should be included with RamBox option). Pulled the "luxury" Tungsten carpet mats and installed Mopar all-weather mat kit. Looks great and since I deal with snowy winters and sandy lakeside summers, this was the first mandatory upgrade. Center console organizer (swiped from old truck when traded). Hitch plug (RAM).

I agree, Chrome, lights, shiny stuff - bring it! Maybe I'm outdated but I like all the shiny bits too. New Tungsten has just enough chrome, lights, and shiny bits everywhere to make me smile every time I walk up to it and it winks the headlight and throws a RAM pool light down across way too many trim and chrome emblems on the door.... I still appreciate a great "blackout" design as well.... I've enjoyed a blacked out '16 BMW 750Li (miss that car), '18 BMW X5 Black/Black, and an 21' Range Rover in Anthracite/Black that sits next to the new Tungsten. Why choose? Enjoy both.

FINALLY! I have installed the 8112s and Dirt King UCAs.
I also took the opportunity to paint my wheel liners and the shock tower and areas to make it look cleaner.
It took me the whole day, especially because I did not have all the equipment needed so I took trips to the store. Especially the UCA wouldn't detach from the spindle, and I hit it HARD! Went and bought a special fork to detach it, and came off super easy.
I haven't gone off roading but I've been speeding through the bumps and it does eat it like nothing.

One small problem, my tire is rubbing at full turn with the UCA. I still need to take it to alignment. But more than ever I need those aftermarket wheels, I honestly did not want to change my Wheels anymore because I wanted to stay at 8 in wide, but now that is exactly what is hurting with the rubbing issue.

Not so bad news. I removed the 3 in spacer lift, and only lost 1 in with the 8112s. I guess that is good news.
OH and the squeaking noise! It was the old UCAs, horrible noise! Finally gone.

Well couldn't come at perfect timing. My offroad group have been moving fast so I was falling behind, my brother is just getting 3.0s Fox for his Bronco. Nothing my Ram can't handle :ROFLMAO:

I wish the grill didn't have those white light sections but I still like it more than the oem one.
The bumper is growing on me again. Sometimes I love it other times not so much its laughable the winch mount could be used as is. It could support a 2500 lbs winch
I'll need to do some welding and strengthening to make it one solid piece. I have an 8000 lbs. Warn winch I may use but my original plan was to install that in the rear bumper.
I also have 2 sets of headlights I bought not working a while back. If I can get into them without damage I'll repair and paint them white. Not a priority right now.
The bumper goes down to the front skid plate and bolts in there. I'm slow but I am having fun 😁

Last week I finally put on the battery blanket for the H8 battery and reconnected the catch can now that cold weather has subsidied.

Today it got filled to the gills with firewood. It's a quarter inch from the bump stops. Think I'll observe the speed limit on this ride.

well i'm supposed to be at the desert with the go-fast Dodge truck group this weekend for the annual get-together (and meet Don Thuren of Thuren Fabrication) but the heat wave this week kicked my *** - body got super exhausted from work... sometimes I wish I worked at another friend's shop with AC lol
instead, I did these:

Passenger side center console MOLLE panel painted black with Steel-It (production versions will be powdercoated)
DSC02740 (Large).jpg
Then I finally started to convert all these patches I collected from Alaska trip. They were all iron-on patches, and had to convert them to velcro. yes... took me over a year to do this.
that Jolly Rogue patch is my website's logo. I printed it with my new 3D printer with black TPU and glow in the dark TPU as a limited run for friends.

and everything I've converted so far are in.

And i got more... and running out of space already 🤦‍♂️

also I noticed my average mileage gone up after I swapped out the air filters last week. my total available cruising range went up... over 50 miles lol

Why did you unhook catch can because it was cold,?

Iced up and didn't feel like dealing with it
Just have to empty it more often in winter. Do it right after a drive and shouldn't be frozen. Especially if you park outside. Thankfully I have a heated garage.

Yeah I need to get a drain valve, unscrewing it is not the way to go. Next winter I'll be in a heated garage.

I was unsure when I ordered mine how well I would like the drain valve. Or even what the quality was going to be like. I've since bought three more of the same design to use on my other vehicles. And it's food this one has a drain valve, because the o-ring they provide to seal the two halves is cheap and wouldn't hold up to constant removal of the bottom.

That's why I loved this one on my 4th Gen. I'm not sure if it'll work on 5th Gen. The hose I took off, just connected to drain and could drain from the fender area.
