For anyone interested in setting up a witech account here is some really good step by step instructions directly from witech tech support. Wish I had this when I first started and have tried to explain process to couple people now, this should help anyone interested out.
Thank you for your interest in the wiTECH 2 J2534 software. To assist first-time users, here's a step-by-step guide to help you set up and use wiTECH 2 J2534 seamlessly. Please click on the links provided throughout this guide to access instructions, user guides, and the referenced websites.
- Create MTSP Account:
Visit
www.mopartsp.com to create your Mopar Technical Service Portal (MTSP) account from the Register link on the AFTERMARKET tab.
- Download J2534 Application:
. Ensure your PC and independent software meet the requirements:

. Navigate to the Support tab within your MTSP account and download the J2534 application suitable for Windows 11.
. Ensure you select the correct region during the installation process (North America or Rest Of World).
Note: The VCI Setup Utility is intended for use with microPods and Mopar Diagnostic Pods. It is not required for the J2534 application.
- Register J2534 Device:
Follow the instructions to register your J2534 device:

Approval may take up to 2 business days to process.
- Create User Profile(s):
Once your J2534 device’s registration is approved, create and assign user profile(s) to the registered device:

New user(s) assigned to a device will receive an Okta activation link via email.
- Set Up Okta MFA Login:
Create the Okta MFA login account for user(s) new to wiTECH 2 J2534:

*Please note: 5 failed OKTA login attempts will result in the account being locked. Please contact the Help Desk for password assistance prior to reaching the lockout state.
- Order Subscriptions:
Go to the Purchase tab on the left-side menu of MTSP. From the top menu, select the needed subscription tabs.
Note: All subscription sales are final and nonrefundable. Ensure your PC meets requirements, you are using a supported J2534 device, and you are servicing a supported vehicle.

- Login to wiTECH 2 J2534 Application:
Launch the wiTECH 2 J2534 application from your desktop. Allow the application to complete its update check, then click on Connect.
. To connect to 2010 to present year vehicles, hover over Device and choose your J2534 device. Use your Okta MFA credentials and your chosen authentication method for login. Click on AM Prod.
. To connect to 1995 to 2009 vehicles, select Switch to Chrysler J2534 Flash Application.
