AlfaOBD Known Changes 5th Gen

Hi guys..
I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition.
Thanks to you, I purchased OBDLink MX+, the bypass cable, and AlfaOBD to make modifications to my truck.
These are the tests I performed:

OK: fog lights on with high beams
OK: offroad page on the 12" screen and on the dashboard display.
NOT OK: mirrors folding when the truck is locked (too bad)
NOT OK: windows and sunroof closing globally when the truck is locked (too bad)
NOT OK: front camera activation with parking sensors
(something I'd particularly like to activate)

Almost all the other options you described are either standard on my truck or I'm not interested in modifying them.

I don't have a front camera, but the rear camera with park sensors worked on my 2020.

Edit: this only works with the TazerDT. I think it will bring up front camera is selected, but I don't have front camera on my truck.

Folding mirrors and global windows don't work on 5th gens with alfaObd. Need the TazerDT with love features to get those options.

Just to be sure we’re all talking about the same feature-
It is a factory feature on 2023+ HD Rams and 2025+ 1500’s for the front camera to automatically display in the radio if the front park sensors detect an object. This feature can also be enabled via alfaobd (in factory form) on 2023-2024 1500’s, even though it wasn’t offered from the factory for those years.

You’re saying that on your 2020, the rear camera with park sensors worked, but what exactly do you mean by that? You have to be in reverse for the rear park sensors to detect an object, at which point, the rear camera will be displayed anyway.
Or, are you saying that when your front park sensors detect an object, it automatically displays the rear camera (which would be useless)?

I forgot to add that was using the TazerDT. And I actually use my rear camera when parking in my garage, so it is a very useful feature for me. I only have about a foot of extra space on my side of garage, so use the line of the garage door, on rear camera display, as a marker for parking.

All the NOT OKs will work by using a Tazer DT - was a really good choice to buy it, I think.

Can you give the steps for this?
I set a dongle on the screen top to do this manually but would love to program it to automatically display.

When I just checked my tablet (only used for AlfaOBD), an update icon for AlfaOBD popped up. I updated to V 2.4.4.0 from AlfaOBD Autodiag (Aug 25, 2025 update)

I was more referring to android or windows version, in case that setting doesn’t show up for you, the process is different to force the setting to show up between the two versions.

Just realized, it appears the 3Honks disable is only with TazerDT, not AlfaOBD.
Still, front camera with sensors is a great change.
