Upper control arm/ball joint went today

It looks like the stock upper control arm. I'm still doing research to find out what a good quality replacement would be. Until the, the truck will sit in the driveway.
I would just get the RC 3 inch lift with UCAs and Lifted struts and be done with it

2021 Ram, ball joint and upper control arm went today. Unbelievably lucky because I was backing into a parking spot but 1 minute before was doing 70 on the turnpike. I love this truck but what the hell, at 45k??? I baby this thing. Even the dealership doesn’t think the 2 inch leveling kit has anything to do with it but unsure. Failure punctured my tire so will be dealing with repair costs and new tires in a month. Again, grateful myself and nobody else got hurt but scary.
2019 Ram Rebel with 47,000mi, passenger side upper ball joint had a catastrophic failure while driving. Tire ended up into the fender well, taking out upper control arm, snapping lower ball joint, separating CV axle, bending inner tie rod, and bending strut. Over $2,000 (parts) in repairs. What I fixed on passenger side I did on driver’s side.

2 Rough Country Forged Upper Control Arms
2 Rough Country 2” Struts
2 Rough Country Rear Shocks
2 OEM Lower Control Arms
2 OEM Outer Tie Rod Ends
1 OEM Inner Tie Rod
1 OEM Axle

Control arms were touching inside of tires after install. So I got it towed to dealer for alignment and to check all torque specs on new components. Currently waiting on a phone call to determine if the alignment solved the upper control arm/tire issue.

Waiting for parts on the week before Christmas was awful.

Did you have a front leveling/lift or something? Or was that failure on oem parts?

I swear only me. Does things like happen I don't get. 2021 ram 1500 limited paid $72,550. I backed out of a parking spot. Pulled up to the stop sign went to go forward and the truck wouldn't move. Didn't even know it was broken. Got out and on the driver's side flat on its face.. and what did Dodge say? Oh, well, nothing we can do Your problem, you fix it, basically that's how it went. Telling me we can't cover that.

Why would they cover it? Did you buy it less than 3 years/36k miles ago?

Why wouldn't they cover? It's extended warranty, platinum coverage, it's mechanical part. The suspension is all covered. The air suspension wasn't touched. It was on normal, but apparently he was on maxed out. And kept going.
And I just got that sensor replaced, not even a year agontapettId

does it list suspension component within the warranty contract?
does it list you can go through dealer or had to go through the company that offered the warranty?

if it lists suspension component AND says you can go through dealer then you have a case. If it lists suspension and says you have to go through the company that offered it, then you have to go through the company. If it doesn't list suspension components then you're out of luck.

reason i am being particular is because there are plenty of "extended warranties" from various sources and different things are covered and the entities covering them are different. Simply saying "i got extended platinum warranty" doesn't mean anything unless it specific lists "suspension" and "dealer warranty"
