What did you do to your Ram today???

went to measure the center console for a project that i've put on backburner for the longest time, and played with designing:
Center Console Mockup.png
This is a rough mock up with my seating position.
The idea is for me to put a pistol and a tourniquet on the driver side, HAM Radio's speaker and a CommSlot handheld holder on the passenger side for when I spot for others.

I am aiming for a no drill solution.

Started ambient light installation.

What lights are those?

Guess it all depends on what harness you use, or what wires you tap into. No issues on my 2020 using the Vice Design trailer harness adapter.
My post should have (edited to add) specified the trailer alerts pertain to 25-26MY. Pre-25MY don't have issues with trailer harness taps.

This weekend, I completed the Rear suspension. I went ahead and installed the Rear Coils from Carli and the Bilsteins 8100.
First time ever doing this type of work, but if I could do the Long Tube Headers myself I could do this haha.
Had some hiccups when lowering the diff, you have to be careful with brake lines, and for some reason my driver side would not drop enough to remove the old coil. I did have 2 inch spacer, but the passenger side came off fairly easy.
Rear feels like BUTTER! Can't wait to do the front 8112s with the Dirt Kings UCAs.
Unfortunately I have to wait for one 8112 that is on Backorder. They said 3 weeks, can't wait to try them on the whoops!
By the way, I did not add back the plastic liners (last pic) I think it looks way better, more offroad like.

oh I def would've gotten them from you haha, I went with regular Rebel because I don't usually carry a lot of weight. I think I calculated like 100 lbs when I go out and maybe less.
Why did you change them? Was it for a heavier loaded coil? I know you carry a ton of weight.

i changed them because of the weight.
i'm way over what they're rated for because i basically leave my entire expedition setup in the truck at all times now. well minus the food and the drinks... those are stocked up before leaving. but the diesel heater, the power stations, diesel, tools, kitchen stuff, pantry, starlink, washing water, etc are all always in the truck.

Post a parts list and how you did it. It looks good.
I ordered two sets (about 40€ each) because one kit wasn’t enough length for the amount of strips I wanted to run. Total cost: ~80€. Check out pictures in attachment.

What I installed (layout)

I used the strips like this:
  • Front dashboard / front panel: 3 LED strips
  • Center console: 2 LED strips
  • Doors: 1 LED strip per door
  • Plus extra lighting for:
    • door handles
    • footwells / footsteps
    • door pockets / door area
So overall it ends up looking very “factory+” and fills the cabin evenly.
  • Day 1: ~4 hours
  • Day 2: ~3 hours
    Total: ~7 hours DIY
  • App control + remote control
  • About 200 presets (lots of animated / “streamer” effects)
  • Zone control (front + doors separately)
  • Brightness + speed adjustments
  • Music mode is included too
Honestly the quality is good for the money — strips are bright, effects are smooth, and the interior looks way more premium at night. For ~80€ total, I’m really happy with it.

Well done. Can we see close up pics of the strips installed both turned on and off? I'm curious how they look in the daytime when you can't see the light.

Did on oil change and tire rotation. And trying to figure out the tire pressure decals which one is correct and why the difference front and rear??? Any one
