2025 Laramie with SO SST. Is there any reason not to run with the *** off? Mine is off constantly because I hate it. Will this affect anything else?
Just gas mileage (and that's debatable), but it won't effect anything else at all.2025 Laramie with SO SST. Is there any reason not to run with the *** off? Mine is off constantly because I hate it. Will this affect anything else?

You can buy the auto stop eliminator and it’ll always stay off.

There's one for, at least, the 2025. I've got it installed and it works great.I started looking into this, and learned that there isn't one (yet) for the 2026, and maybe not the 2025. There's something different about the >24 models.

The website that @Eighty provided a link for says it's for 2025 and 2026 models. Excellent product for those who don't want auto stop/start.I started looking into this, and learned that there isn't one (yet) for the 2026, and maybe not the 2025. There's something different about the >24 models.

I have the start stop and MDS permanently turned off and I lost a whopping one mile per gallon. There is no reason to have it on in my humble, not a mechanic, opinion. Mine is an e-torque and the start stop would just stress that more since its that motor that does the auto start once you initially start your vehicle.2025 Laramie with SO SST. Probably not going to unnecessarily stress the eTorque motor since that motor actives every single time you move from a start anyway.I have the start stop and MDS permanently turned off and I lost a whopping one mile per gallon. You are likely correct. Given the multitudes of posts regarding the bearing going bad on the motor, my thought was eliminating the torque of a re-start at every stop might help.Probably not going to unnecessarily stress the eTorque motor since that motor actives every single time you move from a start anyway.
But that would require moving your arm for 2 seconds.Isn’t there a button by the 4 wheel drive selector to disable auto start/stop already
