Got it hooked up like it says, was able to find it in WiFi and hooked long enough to update firmware and did. Can’t get it to show anything on screen. Says connected but will not do anything and is staying red. Any advice to get this working?

I use their CarPlay/camera version for our toddlers car seat and it works pretty well. I don’t use it every time I drive as I just use it to the camera features and thus have to make sure my phone isn’t competing with it for CarPlay. I have found if i don’t get connected to it right at ignition then I’ll never connect to it until I shut down and start over.

The same thing happens to me.
I had to erase the connection memories between smartphones and trucks (on both of them reciprocally) and always use ottocast connected by wire to the truck and the smartphone only connected to ottocast (bt + wifi).
