2019 ram bighorn 5.7. I’ll try to make this not a long story. I had some misfires. Took it to a mechanic I trust completely. After 2 1/2 weeks (on and off) with every possible test done he narrowed it down to having a bad PCM. He said it was glitching somehow and randomly not sending the correct voltage and at the correct timing to the injectors. I got a re-maned flashed from them, PCM from flagship one. Installed it and it would crank and shut off after 2 seconds. Contacted flagship one, they sent me another one. Same outcome. I had a mobile auto computer guy come take a look and after about 30-45 minutes told me it would not let him into it to do anything. He could see the keys on his stuff but would not let him do anything programming wise to the PCM. Reluctantly said maybe have to take it to the dealership. We all know that’s a long nightmare to do anything. Could it be he dosent have the right programming software, OBD tool etc…?? Please for the love of all things holy give me any ideas! THSNKS IN ADVANCE!!

If it starts and dies after a few seconds, that means the secret key immobilizer information hasn’t been transferred to the PCM for your VIN. The only way to do this is to clone your original PCM, or have the dealership program the PCM (but the dealership can only do this on a brand new PCM).
It looks like Flagship One only programs the VIN, and that’s not enough for the 5th gen Ram PCM’s. They would have had to send you a device to read your original PCM, and send it back so they could properly program the replacement PCM.

If you have a used PCM from any 2019-2024 5.7 hemi 5th gen Ram truck, I can program it for you, but I would need both the original and replacement PCM from you. Send me a direct message if you need to go this route.

My sons PCM was failing in his 16 month old chev 4x4 rst first thing it would do was not let the tech in to see if they could flash it \look at just locked the Tech out of the PCM , hope this kind of helps.

Thank you guys for your expertise. My mechanic found a guy through YouTube that actually opens up your pcm and is able to internally repair/replace drivers etc… and reached out to him and is in the process of sending it to him. He literally called me 10 minutes after I posted this. This forum is a godsend guys thank you for taking the time to respond seriously. I’ll hit you up if this dosent fix it! Fingers crossed!!!
