2025 Battery Issues

My 2021 RAM 1500 Longhorn Limited battery appears to suffer from a parasitic battery drain due to all of the electronics. I had the dealer replace my OEM battery after one year with it constantly draining down. Subsequently, if I’m not using the truck for 3 days or more, I keep it on a Battery Tender to simply maintain a full charge.

Ram/Stellantis apparently had a manufacturer issue with the current batteries, start at 9:30

Just watched a few minutes of the video. My Limited Ram with the Hurricane HO is in right now getting a new Catalytic Converter installed.

Also had 2 new batteries installed about a month ago.

I very much appreciated your interest. I have experienced the same parasitic battery drain with a 2023 Ford Bronco (battery also replaced after a year) if the vehicle isn’t driven for 3-5 days. Since I know what vehicle I intend to use, I simply switch which I connect to a Battery Tender to maintain a full charge. As a result, I have NOT experienced the dead battery failure to start. Again, your interest is appreciated but I don’t believe I have a current issue that deserves your attention. Thanks RAM Cares!
