More body panel screws, not bolts.Actual bolts would make more sense. Im not sure where they went but they will be here tomorrow morning. I owe you big time! Thank you
I bought a few of those wire ties last month just to have but I'd rather not.![]()

The last of the e38's 740ish were awsome cars.
Porsche 944 Turbo LEGENDARY! E46 M3 without SMG but with 6 speed manual would be dreamy and last forever
Enough with BMW's or I'll start looking for one![]()
i had a chassis unlimited 18" height thorex rack and i changed all the hardwares to Grade 8 bolts.I know I've seen conversations about this somewhere but figured I'd give someone else the chance to exercise and sharpen their search skills:
I'm contemplating getting an RTT for next summer and needing recommendations on bed rack for it.
I have a roll-up soft Tonneau that I would like to keep. 5' 7" bed, no ram box.
....aaand go!!

Those came out great!so uh... there was Geminid Meteor Shower this past weekend and I found out about it too late, so had some alone but not lonely time in the desert to capture it.
here's summary:
Here are the results:
- 1 man 1 truck
- no air down
- discovered I had some issues with my Renogy DC-DC w/ MPPT charger for the camper LiFEPO4 AT CAMP... so basically the whole week with starlink being on and truck not driven it was draining the battery because solar wasn't charging. 3 hours of driving with solar priority charge profile only charged half of the battery. Continued to run starlink for the night, set it to sleep at 4AM-8AM and ran diesel heater at the lowest setting to conserve energy. Left all camper lights off during the 12 hours I was at camp. Almost froze to death at night with windchill
- did 2 sessions of photos, 10PM-2AM, and another one from 2AM-3AM. Ended up with about 1500 photos with only 73 i deem publishable. I turned 750 of them into a time lapse video (will post that later)
- post processing almost killed my desktop in the RAM department... who knew 32GB RAM is not enough...

That is AmAzInG! I wish I lived near that area. I do like to see a tree every now and again.
My parents took my brother and I out West from New Jersey in 1978 it was HELL on Earth! We were a 70ish VW van/bus and stayed at KOA's it was HOT
I think only my dad was having fun. I did get to see some incredible sights and will remember it for the rest of my life but both sides will remain the good and the bad.
I didn't die! It sure felt like that was an option
Do you have a diesel heater??hahaha it's winter. i am staying away from the snow lines (where trees are usually found).
too many shenanigans occur when desert people go to snow lol
i might do a 1 night run to Yosemite in February for the Fire Fall and having a hard time deciding in between getting a heated canvas tent or spending $400 a night for a rustic hotel room in the park
im at that stage now lolll
yeap. always in the truck lolDo you have a diesel heater??
Did you mean 35 maybe 45?yeap. always in the truck lol
diesel heater when it dips below 55 (i sleep with boxers and a summer blanket only. don't like to sleeping in thick blanket or sleeping bag)
AC when it goes above 80
What and why? If I may ask...Changed the 12v cig lighter fuse from 54A to 54B. Have to unscrew the 2 knee panel screws and there are 6 clips attached to the back of panel as well and contort yerself to find them on the right side.

It's the same on all year models. It just switches the 12V outlet from ignition power to battery power and vice versa. What and why? If I may ask...I dont have a 2026 but I want to be ready if it do

Indeed. Except the 2022 I had the fuses were pointing straight down and I didn't have to take a panel off IIRC.It's the same on all year models. It just switches the 12V outlet from ignition power to battery power and vice versa.
