Drivers side Sun Visor broken

So does the 2022 visor fit / look right on a 2019 Ram?

Not sure of the color of mine. Just got the truck on the 20th, and it was the first issue I noted. Mine isn’t black, although the rest of my interior is except for the headliner, visors and some upper trim pieces on the ceiling. More of a grayish color.

All the best,
Glenn

Are only 2019s having the sun visor failing? Anyone with 2020 and up?

2020 both broke. Replaced drivers for $100. It's doing fine. I'll get to the passenger eventually.

Funny, my 2019 drivers side one broke in similar fashion. The little "elbow" where it meets the metal rod broke. Ordered one for ~$90 I believe. Dealer had it the same day. Took about 5-10 min to fix. Wasn't thrilled about it but it could have been worse.

One question same problem; my right side broke and I only see a piece of cable the replacement has the new connector? to have light again?

I just replaced my passenger side visor, the connection was the same but the wiring was much tighter in the arm and loose like the old one.

The connection is for the mirror lights.

Well I’m on my third driver side sun visor… second one broke in the exact same spot as the first. Good news at least is that I got this third one for free! I bought the second one from Moparpartsinc and they honored their two year parts warranty no questions asked ( not sure if all the dealers have this warranty but I hope so )

My driver’s side broke today, was swinging without resistance in the morning then fell out this afternoon. 2020 Limited.
I had no idea this was as common as it appears to be…. Had it happen earlier this year…. The repair kits listed are kinda fugly, and I am certainly way out of warranty… someone in the thread gave me an idea (stuffing a little piece of paper in the hole… I may try melt some plastic on the shaft and smooth it out to fit tighter next time I am in the shop
