@StuartV Like you said, I was not intentionally attacking her politics, just a personality trait. Because she is a political figure, I understand where
@RamTruckMan was coming from. I didn't mean to stir anything up so I agree we should just move on. All good.
I do appreciate everyone's input on dealing with Stellantis. The part where things get murky is that I do have my truck right now. I drive it hundreds of miles per week. It's just really annoying to not be able to interract with the infotainment screen. Early-ish on in this, they did offer to pay for some/all of the truck payments while the truck is "down" but when I told them both the truck is already paid off and I still drive it every day, they offered to extend the warranty on it. When I told them I already bought the extended warranty they said they would extend it even more. That's all fine and dandy but at this point I'm just getting more and more frustrated each day when I get into my truck.
I think what I'm going to have to do is call RamCares and just keep asking for advisors until I get to the "top".
You could also possibly bite the bullet and leave the truck with them and tell them you're not taking it back until it is fixed. You can't use some of the important features if your touchscreen doesn't work.
If you bought a Mopar MaxCare warranty, they should give you a comparable loaner or rental.
While they have it, I suspect (but, of course, it depends on your state) the Lemon Law clock is ticking.
Places I have looked into generally apply the LL after 30 days without use of the vehicle or something like that. In which case, they MAY also be on the hook for any out-of-pocket expenses you had - like paying for a rental car in the meantime.
Just another option to consider. Trying phone calls to Stellantis/RamCares and also checking with other dealerships first definitely seems like a good idea.
All I said was let’s keep politics out of this and you seem to have been offended.
Yep. I do get offended when people accuse others (passive-aggressively or otherwise) of something they didn't do and, in fact, the accuser is actually doing exactly what they are accusing someone else of.
Politics WASN'T in this thread - until you accused someone of putting politics into the thread. You appeared to be offended by his reference to Kamala and her word salads and made it into something about politics - when it had nothing to do with politics. Then you accused him of bringing politics into the thread, when HE did not. You did.
Politics, race, sex... people get offended all the time by someone and then, where there is a difference in one of those things, the offended person accuses the other of doing what they did because of that difference - even when the difference (in politics, race, or sex) had absolutely NOTHING to do with what the person did or why they did it. Yep. I do get offended when that happens.
And then, when you call the person out for making false accusations, they get offended about that, too!
Kamala has vomited so much word salad in the last 4 years, I'm surprised Whole Foods isn't stocking it in the Fresh Produce section. Saying that has NOTHING to do with politics. And what
@Peterhenric said was, just in my opinion of course, a very clear and apt metaphor for what he intended to communicate. A lot of words were communicated to him but, in the end, they had no content that was useful to him.
So, there you go. I think I have made my point. If nobody has anything more to say about it then neither do I.
