Center console to bench seat swap Complete

Had some time to go digging this morning. I think I found the diagram for the parts needed here. They are the middle lower storage compartment pieces. I ordered them, will confirm once I receive them and install them.

Edit: it was a pain in the butt to find one in stock. For some reason, I couldn't find any brand new ones, so I had to get one on Ebay for $80 shipped. Came in and fit like a glove, my wife is going to be happy that the lower drawer looks more finished now. Now I just need an all weather mat to cover the middle carpet area.

I love what you did, I'm considering this myself, another seat is awesome!

Does anybody know how to take the back bracket off the jump seat off? I'm tiring to put the console in and that is not the console bracket. i took the 2 scrws out and it wont budge.

You will need to pull up the carpet as there are two more bolts closer to floorboard towards the rear.

Next question would be does the new console bracket take that brackets place? The screw holes are too small for the bolts. Or do you just drill them out? I really do appreciate your help.

Should bolt right in using existing hardware. At least on the swap I helped with

Yes, console bracket replaces the jump seat bracket. They have different bolts and bolt holes.

So I have a 2023 1500 Rebel and it has the console, but I just barely discovered that swapping to a jump seat is a thing. I haven’t found anywhere if there are specific comparability between different trims and different years? I’m sure there is quite a difference, but what jump seat would fit in a rebel? Also are there leather jump seats? All I seem to find is cloth. Maybe I’m not looking deep enough.

Looks like reupholster the jump seat is the option to get it to leather. That’s fine. At least the back of the jump seat is leather so when it’s down it matches. Do jump seats come in black? I can’t seem to find any black cloth jump seats.

And this weather liner that covers the center floor carpet hole after the counsel is out might be a good buy.

I have that one. Fair warning, if you don't get the lower tray that covers the hole in the carpet, the mat won't cover that hole either. It'll still be exposed, like it is in my truck. I'm still struggling to find a lower tray that fits our truck

I have that tray when I get a chance I’ll pull the PN off it for you!

Thank you so much for posting this! I'm about to undertake this project myself. Quick question, does the Instrument Panel with USB Connections (6GU12TX7AH) inclue the actual USB/headphone jack plugs? What I'm seeing online showes that there are cutouts only. Do I need to purchase additional items to wire these? Thanks in advance!

Mine came with USB and USB c connectors on the left and a hole on the right side (not sure what it's for, guessing a lighter jack). I never connected them, I haven't spent the time to figure out how to split the connections from the console.

Someone else may be able to expand on that.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. Super helpful, I really appreciate it.

BTW your conversion looks great!

The right side hole is for the 120v outlet option.

You mentioned splitting your console harness, did you cut it during the swap?

2021 limited with console converted to 2021 limited with leather jump seat. All rear heat and ventilation, usb's working.
Didn't take pics along whole install but just know this can be done. The console went into a bighorn eco diesel. No major hitches. I'm willing to help you along the way.
Looks amazing! Looking to attempt the same thing in my '19 Limited. You mentioned getting the rear heat/vented seats to work, that's awesome. Did ou swap out your switches from your center console to the jump seat? Mine has blanks, but doesn't have the switches. Curious if this was straight forward? Thanks in advance!
