What did you do to your Ram today???

Oh also worth looking into is the Topo Toppers Rincon. It had a few things I liked better than the Tune, and vice versa. Overall, the Tune is the nicer camper, and that’s what won my wife over, but the Rincon has some advantages, including lower weight and price.

Perhaps the main thing that made me decide on the Tune, aside from my wife’s preference, was that I could get it in Virginia (8 hour drive from home). The Topo is made in California, and the only other place to get one is Colorado (which is where the Tune is made). We will be in the Rockies in September, but the idea is to get the camper now so I can finish my customizations and tweaks before the big trip.

Very happy with it so far, as is my wife, and I’m looking forward to spending lots of time in it. And I can’t wait until it’s time to use the heater. Can I just skip summer?
How much does something like that cost?

Finally did the lift, this is right after and I still have some work to do. I've got the rear full Core4X4 Arms, Panhard, Hellwig to install. Sits at 40 Front/40.5 Rear, but also have old suspension in bed at moment.

BDS 3" w/ FOX Elite 2.5's. KMC Technic 20X9 Powder coated Maximum Steel Metallic, same as truck. Falken Wildpeak AT4W 285/65

Looks great, really like the wheel/tire setup!!

Thanks. I was on the fence when I went with OEM colored wheels. I'll get better pics when clean and sun is out. That Maximum Steel is a killer color in the sun, overcast looks sorta black lol
Any rub or heat needed for the tires? What's the wheel offset?

I may change my wheels after this year and dropping down to 20x9 from 22x10 and bigger tire.

I may need to do that. The Tune is pretty much the opposite of the GFC.

Honestly, between this and my drawer system, I’m pushing the payload limit of my Bougie Lander. I’ve got 2500 envy.
just do it.
ive got 2500 envy too but mostly for the suspension department... plenty of Baja proven options out there already that do not require me to front the R&D for LT kits for the community lol
i figured if i really want to make it bougie then I'd just do a slide in on HD truck like my friend did:

or a van... or a expedition truck with habitat lol

How hard are they to remove? I think in the winter I'd put it in the basement but the added weight wouldn't hurt any.

I got myself a camper! Tune M1.

I love it, it’s super spacious (king size sleeping platform). Only camped in it one night (it was installed Friday). It’s a big girl, surely over 500 pounds but I don’t know the actual weight. I lost about 1.5” in the rear, on Dobbinson springs, and down to an inch or less of rake. If I hadn’t upgraded my springs, I’d have to now! This is also with my heavy Kufu drawers and a fridge.

I’ll be tweaking and customizing for a while.

Yesterday and today, I installed solar panels on the roof, rear view camera, and some other electrical goodies. It’s very much a work in progress. I’ll need to make some sort of hood for the camera, to shield it from rain and sun glare.

Nice setuup

If your bed liner feels.like sandpaper, then they added grit to it. Mine does not feel like sand paper. But, it also doesn't keep things from sliding around. That would be the main purpose of a bed mat for me. But I have a BedRug in mine.
Had a Bedrug for 3 years, hated it. Stays wet, traps moisture. If I get some drips or water in through my bedcover the rug would stay wet and and leech out. Sticks and mulch cling to it like velcro.

I like the ridges on the bed mat where water can run in the low spots my stuff can be sitting on top of the ridges. With the bedmat its like sitting on a flat sponge. Nah

Keep cover closed and it stays dry. Any little bit that gets past the bed cover doesn't last long. If it does get wet, just leave the bed cover open for a few hours parked outside. I just pressure washed mine a week ago. It was dry the next day with leaving my tonneau rolled up and parked in my garage. If you are going to haul sticks and mulch, remove it. It's only held in with Velcro. That's so you can easily remove it for dirty work.

Makes the bed look so much better than any other option, and covers the ribs in the bed so if you need to crawl in for something not hurting your knees. Works great for drive in movies.

I've had a BedRug in my 2000 Dakota R/T since 2003. Still looks as good as the day I installed it.. but I do have a fiberglass hard tonneau on that truck, and never really haul.anything, other than hauling *** everywhere.

Drive in movies! Haven't been to one of those in years and down here in Georgia it's too hot for that. Even tho there is one.

You just confirmed it for me, yeah I hate it. Leave it open to dry.....take it out.....
