Newest software version of 2022 12 inch radio?

Well mine got tired of me delaying it and updated itself this morning. I’m now on 35.26. No immediately noticeable changes that’s I’ve seen, but I haven’t dug into all the settings yet.

My 2024 Limited said it was updating when I got out of my truck last night. This morning, the interface was all messed up the first time I started the truck...no temperature numbers for climate control and the physical buttons didn't work, category buttons at the bottom of the screen were completely absent (just blank space), and the entire interface kept shifting up and down as the top status bar kept disappearing and reappearing. It was so messed up that I couldn't control anything.

I tried a soft reboot by holding the two dial buttons but that didn't help. Turned the truck off and restarted, and that didn't help either. Entire infotainment system was borked, but I had someplace to be so I just started driving. The truck was off for about 45 minutes after I reached my destination. Fortunately, when I started it back up the next time, everything seemed to be back to normal. Fun morning

My 2024 Limited also updated last night. Was out at dinner and came back to a message on the screen. Visually quick things I noticed was the red and blue temp for HVAC in the upper left corner. The quick access icons in the top middle of the screen changed and outside temp was displaying there and it’s not. No idea what else changed either.

Always just do the factory reset after any update. Then reboot the radio twice in a row.

My also updated last night. It removed the temperature digits and replaced them with a stupid blue and red strip. It also disabled my physical buttons for the temp up and temp down so that doesn't work. On the dashboard it completely removed the performance pages but added electronic runningboards button.

The red/blue indicator without temp numbers and button malfunction are what happened to me initially, but it went back to "normal" after a couple restarts. I did have to redo some of my settings to get things back the way I like them.

Update happened last night. Changed my previously set pages. When I started my truck this evening, they were still not what they were before the update. I redid them myself.
I don’t have outside temperature or numerical temperatures at the very top anymore. I’m not sure how to get them back. Working 7/12hrs, so don’t have much time to mess with it.

What about the performance pages? Are you able to access that?

I did see they were there but I didn’t see if they will come up. Only the header saying Performance Pages. Try tomorrow am when I leave work.

Give it a couple of cycles and your temperature settings came back. If not, do a soft reset and that should do it. This happened to mine after the April update but a soft reset got them back.

My update to U29.44 came through today for my 2022 RAM 1500 Limited. Once it was completed, the display was showing as previous members have posted.
I was driving while I noticed things were now as the same as it was before.
I did a radio reset through the menu screens and when it rebooted and came back up, everything was back to normal.
I didn’t notice anything different compared to the previous version. During the remaining 3 hours of my trip today.

Seabaz, opened the performance pages, under gauges, only 2 appeared. Trans temperature & battery voltage

Two updates in the past week and all I noticed is larger XM Radio channel icons in my favorites tabs.

Anybody know what else changed? Seems like senseless updates.

I lost my temp and heated seat/wheel icons but everything came back after one ignition cycle. No other issues.

When the radio acts funny after and gives you performance pages then it doesn’t and the temp bar is there then it’s not…. This update will run on trucks WITH THOSE OPTIONS as well as yours. If the next day you don’t see performance pages or the trailer tire pressure screen like I did for a short time, it is because you have allowed the radio time to communicate with the modules and all willwill revert back to what YOUR TRUCK HAS. Mine didn’t have the trailer tire pressure module, so the screen went away. Give it time. Let it communicate over night. Relax.

Well I have been updated for a while now. My towing and trailer dashboard gauges app is missing a gauge or 2. I used to soft reset to get them back but nothing works this time. The trailer light check still does not work either. My trailer setup button started working again after the last update though. The gauges that do appear are 100% functional other than the ones that are still missing. I sure wish they would get these glitches sorted out. Odd that we had 2 major updates in just a few days.

My update for the update dropped today. Happened while I was at the grocery store. Said heck with it and let it update while I shopped. Update completed and per usual, some assorted controls were missing. Got home a few miles away and . being the opps behind the recent updated, I always prefer to reset a time or two anyays after a system pdate. Went through the 2 soft resets per Jimmy on here. Went back out about 30 minutes after the last reset and everything wa back to normal.

Add me to the list of users that got the 29.44 update back in April on my 2022 1500 Limited, I didn't have any problems other than the quirky stuff that happens the first 24 hours after a update (speed limits were wrong, and the temps looked funny) that all resolved by itself.

Starting a few days ago I'm getting the stupid "error code 5" update has failed message about every 3rd time I get in the car. Does anyone have tips on what I can do to get whatever they are trying to push (i assume 35.26) to install so it will stop giving me the "error code 5".

Not sure a dealer visit is in the cards for me because I went out of warranty last month.
