Oil change monitor

Does anyone know how many "miles to go" when you get down to 5% oil life remaining, just wondering if I should change the oil before or after my trip of about 1900 miles?
Without dipping too far into the 3k/5k/10k debate, I'll say that the best advice that I ever got was that if you are close to needing an oil change then do it before a long trip. Oil lubricates your engine and helps it stay cool.

There is no debating that no matter which way you land on the 3k/5k/10k debate, you are in need of an oil change.

Yeah too many push 3-5K oil changes when oil labs have shown oil still good even after 10K. We don't have the old engines anymore. I believe the 240K+ youtube guy does 10K changes
The 1 million mile guy with a Tundra changes every 10k miles. And he did it twice on two Tundras.

Edit ... found the vid.

There is more to it than just a computer percentage. What type oil is in it? Quality filter? Driving conditions? How many actual miles has it been since a change?
