2022 Bighorn LEVEL 1, safety level 1, tow pkg, Uconn5- 8.4". I have tried and tried to turn off the DRLs in the Uconn, tried with auto headlights, headlights off, just running lights, every way imaginable! ..... to no avail..... they stay on!
What am I doing wrong? I could understand if it was for a Canadian destination, but this truck was a corporate lease vehicle out of Las Vegas NV. It had a couple of deletes, like the underseat storage and credit for XM/sirius. It does have the Alpine system.
What can I try next?

I don't know if you can turn them off.

Buy a Tazer. You can then configure your lights any way you want them.

Yeah, did this ^^^^^ multiple times. It definitely shows the box to turn the DRLs on/off. The "check mark" will click on/off, but doesn't change the function. The darn lights just stay on!
Oh well, I guess I'll have to live with them on.....
Not going to spend a couple hundred dollars on a device to turn off lights....

Are you thinking that the upper and lower light strips are the DRL’s? If so, they aren’t, those are signature lights and are always on whenever the truck is running.
The DRL’s are the low beam headlight bulbs.
To turn the signature lighting off, you’ll have to use alfaobd or JScan.

This is the lighting I can change on my limited I guess it's the signature lighting the white is on when turned off with the Tazer if this helps.

No, not the signature lights, don't have them. Halogen headlights. Definitely the low beams are on.

I went out and checked my truck yesterday my DRL's where turned off in the settings I turned them on and looked at them then turned them back off low beams all the time the signature lights stayed on white they are the one's I change to amber with the Tazer.

RAM doesn't know wtf DRLs are. Lighting settings in these trucks are abysmal.

I guess I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree cause for the longest time, I thought the DRL's were the signature lights when I changed them with the Tazer to amber I just assumed they were the DRL's Me Bad

Nope. RAM just has to be different. They call them "Signature Lights" and the DRL's are the headlights.

Tazer might identify them as DRL's because that's normal to consider them DRL's. But that's not RAM lol.
