2025 1500 Limited doors will not lock/unlock

Yeah, let us know what the ticket says about what the issue with the cats were. FastBlackRam was referring to people who continue to drive their cars after it overheats (coolant wise) being their fault. He was responding to my post on faulty thermostats.

Oh okay sorry misread his post quickly. got the truck back last night seems to be driving fine so far, replaced both cats, I asked what would've caused this and they have no idea... this is making me nervous but I guess only time will tell...

I have a 2025 Big Horn, my doors wont lock/unlock with the fob (the lights flash and honk but the locks don't actually engage or disengage). Also the lock switch on the inside of the truck door panels dont lock/unlock either, nor does the auto lock function when over 20mph . No issues with the truck starting or running. Did you ever get any fix for this? trying to troubleshoot before scheduling 2 weeks out with the dealer.

Yeah hopefully it was something wrong with them from their manufacturer and a fluke. I can't imagine what those convertors cost. OMG! I'm still going to floor mine often! Such a thrill!

I had to travel and left the truck at the dealer for a week and they verified all of the issues and did a “ proxi alignment.” They then drove it for 10 miles a day for 5 days and didn’t see anything reoccur. I pick the truck up tomorrow, we shall see… Will let you know how it goes.

For the Laramie and Limited, when the FOB won’t work, the next question is whether the “key card” will work to open the doors? I realize this doesn’t help if the Big Horns ….

Any updates on this one? My Tungsten just started doing this exact same thing, too.

Well I cant say I tried the card, but I tried both fobs and the app. all three the truck was getting the signals because the exterior lights lit up and the running boards deployed on every but the locks on all of the doors did not physically lock or unlock. only when I used the actual key did it unlock only the door I using it on. then the buttons inside would not do anything either. truck started right up fine though.. tried again in about 15 minutes still having the issue. tried again in about an hour and all of a sudden everything unlocking again. never touched a battery..

It did not. They had it for a week and I go to pick it up and before I can shift into drive the error is on. I do think it’s possible it is related to moisture and a connection getting wet. I seem to notice a bit more after a night of rain and it rained the day before I picked up the truck. It also happens when it is completely dry, but I would say 80% of the time the truck is wet. Any similar timing for you ?

I feel like it has happened more after a rain or going through car wash but it has happened when not wet as well... so now im not sure haha. I just got the truck back after both of the cats were "bad". CEL came on and put me in limp mode... so im just happy to have the truck back after driving around in limp for 3 weeks... haha. truck feels great right now, no weird alerts or lights for about a week now...

I started having the door lock issue today, had to use the key and lift the locks on the other doors to open them. Has anyone found a fix for this?
