I keep reading about them as the value buy of the year for an AT tire. All the reviews are great. Anyone running them in the wild who could give me feedback on treadwear/mileage/noise/snow traction compared to like a Falkon or a KO2 or Baja?

my dad is running those on his grand Cherokee which I often also drive - very quiet tire - city and highway

@HSKR R/T is also running these and have seen him put them to the mud test so he might be able to give you better feedback

I have the Kenda Klever M/T on mine right now. 275/65/20, or 34" tires. They have served well. Got them used for $400 for the set just over a year ago.

Just an update my Kendas have been great and I have 0 regrets this far

Hit 30k miles on them they look new still perform well in snow/rain. Noise has increased but I expected that with such an aggressive tread pattern. 35x12.50 r/t

i will say i do a good job or keeping them air'd up when temp change and i rotate them every oil change so take that into consideration

i came from the same place Kenda is from - Taiwan.

I've ran/ am running Falkens and will be getting toyos next. for similar prices i much rather go with Japanese tires.

Is this the same price because you work for a shop and get tires at a better price? I need proof that you are getting those for the same price as Kenda’s. I’m showing a $700+ difference and you usually run a 5th tire also, so those prices are not comparable.

i did a 2 second google search. somehow the kendas are showing $369 or something while the toyos are showing $389.

i just did the search again this time clicking into the listing: turns out the toyo pricing is for 33s lol i stand corrected.

frigging google.

i cannot disclose our cost in public since we signed on to be a dealer for toyo (MAP and other legal stuff), but generally a good starting point for automotive parts cost starts at about 15% off msrp and depending on the level of dealer and can go up to 25-30% off.
i'll just say my cost for the Toyo RT is comparable to the cost of Wildpeak AT4W, and can be less depending on what promo is on at the time.

but at the end of the day, i still wouldn't run it despite $700+ difference... $700 divided by 40k miles I have so far is like 2 cents per mile, or $1/ day of the 2 years I've ran the Wildpeaks lol

Apples to apples the kendas are a more aggressive tire and unfortunately they do not have a tire similar to those toyos or fallen. Tread pattern on kendas are chunkier and wider gaps (forgot the technical term)

Kenda’s lineup does include the AT2 but they do not come in 35+ sizing

yeah i mean if you're happy with those then you're happy lol
my point was, us Taiwan people tend to support Taiwan stuff (Gigabyte, MSI, etc) but tires are not one of those lol that should say something

My only complaint it road noise other than that I’m good.
